Mike Ellingson's Special U. S. Machine Cancel Overview Exhibit from the NYC2016 Show

exhibit page

The Society needed a way to showcase machine cancellations for visitors to the NYC2016 stamp show. Fortunately, Mike Ellingson was able to create this exhibit frame. It provides a 16 page overview of United States machine cancels through history, and encourages readers to visit the Society booth at the show, and to join our Society. The contents were created by Mike Ellingson, and are reproduced and distributed to the public with his permission. The exhibit contents may only be used for non-commercial purposes.

At this time, there are multiple format files, each file containing the single frame of the exhibit. The first file is a PDF file, which can be read by the Adobe Acrobat Reader (tm). The PDF file is approximately 11 megabytes in size. You should be able to read it on any computer that can handle larger files and images. See the web page with information about downloading and viewing PDF files.

The second file offered is the same single frame, made available for direct viewing on the Machine Cancel Society website. Simply click on the link given below.

The third file offered is the same single frame, made available in the Kindle (tm) MOBI format. You can download this file and use a Kindle product (or Kindle reader application) to view the exhibit. The MOBI file is about 7 megabytes in size. See the web page with information about downloading and viewing Kindle MOBI files.

The fourth file offered is the same single frame, made available in the EPUB format. This ebook format is compatible with nearly all ebook readers, except for the Kindle. For example, it can be read with Aldiko, Cool Reader, FBReader, and others. You can download this file and use an appropriate EPUB reader application to view the exhibit. The EPUB file is about 4 megabytes in size. See the web page with information about downloading and viewing EPUB files.

The last file offered is the same single frame, made available as a "website-in-a-box". This is identical with the online web version of the exhibit, but can be downloaded and viewed offline on your computer, tablet, or phone. It is stored as a ZIP archive, which is about 14 megabytes in size. See the web page with information about downloading, unpacking, and viewing offline web browser files.
